Code, prose, and periodic noise. A place to put things so I don't forget how they felt.

Moving to Cloudflare Stream

Building fast means choosing tools that get out of the way, so we are using Cloudflare Stream to skip the AWS headache and just ship.

Video is a pain. I looked at AWS, but it is a total headache. You have to glue together storage, encoders, and delivery networks just to get a single file to play. It is too much noise.

I am going with the Cloudflare Stream creator plan instead. It is simple. I upload a file, and they handle the rest. No messing with formats or buffering. It is about ₹420 a month, which is a steal for the time it saves. We will move to a custom AWS stack later when we need that control, but right now, I just want to ship.
