Respect is a Choice

Age is just a number, yet some people think it is a crown. I find it hilarious when adults demand a level of respect they refuse to give back. Existing for a few extra decades is an achievement of time, not character. If you want my regard, earn it through your actions and your integrity. A birth year provides zero excuse for being condescending or entitled. I value people who treat others with decency, regardless of how long they have been on this planet. If you expect me to bow down simply because you are older, you are going to be waiting a long time.
